The mind microcosm
Our daily life is always full of controllable
and uncontrollable events. We often believe we can superficially
control all our activities, until we realize that something is
beyond our reach and consider it as fate. Logic, as the pillar of
western civilization, is able to explain certain things, while those
not explicable, are completely neglected because they are part of
casualness. That's because we consider our life as fully under our
rational control and reject all those things that are made up of
rashness and irrationality. But how can instinct and irrationality
destroy our life if we claim, through logic, to be able to dominate
our life? Perhaps there is something wrong, something that is beyond
my rational control and which it is more important than I believe.
